Booking

How do your packages work?
Our packages are designed to make pricing simple, with a consistent cost per serve based on what’s included. Higher-tier packages offer more variety and flexibility, helping you create the right experience for your event. We offer Three packages to suit any occasion: Basic, Premium, and Ultimate. How do I make a booking?

Once submitted, we’ll get back to you ASAP to confirm availability, provide a quote, and the next steps to secure your date.

How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking your ice cream van at least 2 months in advance to secure your preferred date. For peak times like warmer months and public holidays, it’s best to book even earlier. If you’re booking closer to the event date, we’ll always try our best to fit you in if we have availability.

What happens after I submit a booking form?
Once you submit a booking form, we’ll get back to you ASAP to confirm our availability, provide you with a quote, and outline the next steps to secure your date. In most cases, we’ll respond within 1 business day, though it might take longer during peak periods.

How long does a booking last?
The length of your booking depends on the package you choose and the number of serves purchased. If you’d like to extend your booking without buying extra serves, you can add extra time at an additional hourly rate.

Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes, we require a 50% deposit of the total booking amount to secure your date and time. We will explain the deposit process when we respond to your booking request.

Do you offer any discounts for larger bookings?
Yes. For bookings of 200 serves or more,
discounts will be available. Any applicable discounts will be discussed and confirmed with you when we finalise your booking details.

Cancellations & Changes

Will I get my deposit back if I cancel?
Yes, but if you cancel on short notice, we may keep a portion as a cancellation fee:

  • More than 28 days before your event: Full deposit refunded
  • 7 to 28 days before your event: 75% of your deposit refunded
  • Less than 7 days before your event: 50% of your deposit refunded

The fee covers stock ordered in advance that may not be usable.

Can I reschedule my booking instead of cancelling?
Yes, you can reschedule any time before your original event date, subject to our availability for the new date. Let us know as early as possible so we can do our best to accommodate your preferred date. Note:

  • The original event date will still determine any cancellation fees if you decide to cancel later.
  • Each booking can only be rescheduled once. Further changes may result in part of your deposit being forfeited according to standard cancellation terms.

Dietary Requirements

Do you serve nuts, and can we opt out for allergic guests?
Yes, nuts are one of the toppings we offer on our soft serve ice creams. If any of your guests have nut allergies, you can ask us not to serve any nuts for the entire booking. On the booking form, you will see the question “Anything we should know?". Simply mention any dietary needs or allergies here.

Do you have vegan options?
Yes, our fruity sorbets are vegan and come in seven flavours: Strawberry, Lemon, Raspberry, Mango, Orange, Pineapple, and Blue Heaven. We also have chocolate sorbet which is 2% dairy. Please ask vegan guests to let our team know when ordering so we can take extra care to avoid contact with non-vegan ingredients. 

Event & Van Information

Will we need council approval to book the van for an event in a public space?
Some councils have specific food van rules for public areas like parks, sports fields, and beaches. Requirements vary by council — some don’t require approval, some do, and others may charge a fee. We cannot obtain approval for you, so please contact the local council for your event site.

Do you do community events such as school fetes or food truck parks where people buy their own ice creams?
Yes, we may attend these events depending on availability. Please submit a booking form and note in the “Anything we should know?” field that guests will be paying for their own purchases.

Do you do non-catering appearances for film, TV, or photo shoots?
Yes — we do. To discuss non-catering appearances for film, TV, or photo shoots, please contact us.

Can we hire the van on its own and handle the catering ourselves?
Sorry, we do not offer the van for hire without our catering service. Our vans are fully equipped and run by our trained team to ensure food safety, smooth service, and a great experience. Allowing self-service could compromise standards and enjoyment.

What space or site requirements does the ice cream van need?
Our van is designed to be flexible and easy to accommodate. The main requirement is space for the van (6.7m × 2.5m), ideally with an additional 1.5m clearance on all sides. It can often fit in tighter spots if needed. No power is required — the van runs on a generator with sound-insulated housing.

Health & Safety

Are your staff trained in food safety?
Yes, all our staff are fully trained and certified in food safety and handling. We hold ourselves to the highest standards of cleanliness and regularly clean and inspect all equipment to ensure food is stored, prepared and served safely.

Do you have public liability insurance?
Yes — we hold current public liability insurance that covers all our trading.
